In regards to my lack of upkeep...

I just wanted to comment real quick on a little point of my blog. Some might have noticed that my currently reading widget on the side of my blog hasn't been updated in pretty much forever. This is because I haven't finished reading Peculiar Children, I just really am not feeling it, so I am just quickly reading other books instead. I read them in about a night so it's not even worth putting in the 15 min to update. So I guess the point of this post was just to hope no one thinks that i haven't been updating. Not that i really even know that anyone is reading this o_O ... Anyway just wanted to cover my bases there.

The Love Mobile

Kiss ItKiss It by Erin Downing

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Songs for this book: Walls by All Time Low, Halfway by Parachute, Settling by Sugar Land.

Official Summary:

A girl’s gotta do who a girl’s gotta do.

Chastity Bryan has never been shy about going after what she wants. And when sexy, mysterious, so-not-from-this-town Sebastian walks into Chaz’s life, she knows in an instant that what she wants next is him. Chaz has no intention of playing for keeps—but she most definitely has intentions. Who needs true love when you’ve got true lust?

Sebastian has no idea what he’s in for—but maybe neither does Chaz….

Review:
Defiantly a different kind of story.  From the description of tho book I was imagining Chaz as a manipulative little slut. Which, let's face it she kind of is. But she has her reasonings. Her character works the sulty-ness of her behavior and warps it with how relatable she is and her situations and makes her not seem like that mean girl hoe at your school you totally judges her as in the beginning.  Chaz explains it pretty well herself when she admits she is kinda similar to those girls, but the difference between the two is she doesn't care about reputation, she's just curious.
This was a quick read that draws you in. While some plot twists can be seen coming a mile away, other aspects I this story really keep you guessing.
"kiss it" keeps it simple and keeps it real. No fairy tale endings here folks but it is on hell of a story. Hopefully this book makes you look around and value what's right in front of you. Don't stress about the future, you've got your whole life to figure that out. Be the person you know in you heart that you are and don't let people's expectations or views hold you back or push you to things you don't want to do.
