AHHhhh!!!! Yes, Yes, Yes!!! but NO, No, No!!! i don't think i can explain my feelings about this book any better.
As a reader you grow to love all of Cassie's characters so much, you watch them develop and grow. She can make someone you hate at first seem like the nicest person in the world in a few paragraphs if she wants. So to watch these characters get so close to happiness only to have it crushed by some new force in their lives is like a seraph blade to the back. And then in the end she has set up the puzzle so that there is only one piece missing. Just when you (the reader) think you have that piece to make everything right, BAM. Guess what? Your wrong. Just when you think she is slowly withdrawing the Blade from your back... She gives it a sharp twist and leave you hanging. laying there with that Seraph Blade in your back until City of Lost Souls hits shelves.
For everyones sake, I hope we don't all bleed out from these twists before the story's over.
